Had my wisdom teeth taken out this morning! Gosh!
Wasn't actually that bad though....no pain yet (face still puffy...woohoo). But I figured I'd let you all know since I know how much you all care so much about my teeth! -

.. Actually, following on from the 'Old Man Global' comment. I've never had my wisdom teeth come through or needed to have a filling - my teeth are in tip top condition
(course... I've got a bad back, arthritic hands and a knee that swells like a balloon when the weather changes!) -
g3org3 355 posts31 Mar 2006I got mine out about one month ago. I was quite lucky in my ordeal. I got my wisdom teeth out on the monday morning, went into work at 3, and no one noticed that I had my wisdom teeth out because I wasn't bleeding nor did I have much swelling. Also I was off the painkillers on tuesday.
Did you get put down entirely or did they just freeze your entire mouth? -
31 Mar 2006I was originally opting for the fullbody anesthetic but just went with the local mouth one.
I was pretty anxious preceding the procedure, thinking it was going to hurt like a son of a mother, but looking back the most painful part was probably getting the anesthetic needles beforehand and they weren't bad at all!
It's been about 10 hours since I had them removed now, and I'm really not that sore at all. Boy am I happy! -
