How are traditional animation movies like nocturna or the iron giant animated? i know traditional animation means drawing with pencil and all, but i just dont see how traditionally animated movies were drawn using pencil! i mean, the lines are obviously much smooother and such than if it was all pencil drawn. so do they draw each and every frame with pencil first, and then do something extra? ive been really curious about this for a while and no one i know seems to know how to ansr this.
