So, here we go,
Our first speed challenge will be a modelling challenge.
Your task is to model a single piece of grabage. It could be anything as long as it can be found in a trash can
You have one hour to model what you want, and since this is the first challenge, we shall give you two weeks to post your entry. (I'll give you a warning saying "3 Days left" or somthing)
Rememeber to post a wireframe of your model along with how much time you spent working on it
if you have any questions, click to read the rules, and if you still have a question, feel free to ask

nice modeling, do you have pencils in your trash?

yes i do
i actually walked around campus looking in trash cans for something to model and the first thing i found was a worn down pencil

then try modeling it worn down, or mabe, model a broken pencil, cause that, looks too new to me!

there is no texture. that's the model. I made that using shell and noise.

Ah, nice! that's the displacement texture showing up. Sweet!

i think so cause it may lead to unfair judgment since they look soo good with textures, and the point in this ch. is modeling

i tried having a real one this year, and it pulled me of from 3d! so i'm not gonna try having one again cause i found you could have a "life" in 3d... probably not the best one you can get, but it defintly is one that suits me!
and it would be a great thing to see you in Sean!
