You don't need to start from scratch, but you're going to have a very difficult time getting a job with that reel. As I've stated before, you really need to stop doing dialogue tests and advanced acting and get back into building a stronger foundation with the 12 principles. There's no need for the gross estimate of time either, if it takes you a month or 12 months it doesn't matter, fact is you need to practice.

Remember, GETTING a job is just the beginning, once you're in there you're going to get shots thrown at you that you've never even thought about, you NEED the solid foundation to be able to tackle complicated and advanced shots in the industry, and do it quickly.
