ps, do you know why when i open it with firefox the menu becomes super long with loads of space between the links? it doesn't do it in explorer. -

Lookin fine indeed, nice simple layout... perfecto.
The menu thing is, as far as I can tell because you're using paragraphs in your menu.
The <p> tags.
and the fact they are in your code as well as the specific use of styles in it makes me think you're using a WYSIWYG webpage editor to make it. Which is fine, but can have unexpected results, especially cross browser.
If you took out those <p> + </p> tags in the menu, it should tighten it up significantly, but maybe too much, up in the table tag, change the cellpadding=0 to cellpadding=3 to make it nice + clean like. -

g3org3 355 posts17 Feb 2007I like the design, but the navigation could use some work. You have 13 different menu items, which is way to many. Try reducing it to 5-7 instead. The picture of the ashtray at the top is too small. Just have it the same size of the thumbnail. For the portfolio, all the picture go down. you could make so you don't have to scroll down at all. so make the pictures go more horizontal.
I like the colour scheme. I actually used basically the same colours in a website I made for a project in one of my classes. -
Master_Blaster 43 posts17 Feb 2007You do have too many items . Make some basic ones (2d, 3d) and add there as sub items.And you also waste a lot of space by using the line up style of the images.
I like that it s simple. -
quinn paynter 356 posts17 Feb 2007Looking good richie. The only thing that id say to fix is that you have to scroll down alot even though the icons arent that big. Why not space them out on the page more so you dont need to scroll so much. Cause when you click them they load on another page anyways. 3 or 4 per line or something. -
g3org3 355 posts17 Feb 2007You could probably get away with the links being: NEWS, ABOUT, PORTFOLIO, TUTORIALS, LINKS, ETC., AND CONTACT. You can have downloads and misc in the LINKS, ETC. It would be a lot cleaner. For the 3d stills section I really don't like the gray boxes that are on the left of the image explaining the image, and what you used. Its the same size and detracts from the actual image itself. So maybe just some white text, right below the image would be good.
And I just noticed when you click on the thumbnails in 3d stills, it brings up a new page, which has a white background instead of black. Keep it black for consistency. When you click on the thumbnail and it brings up the larger image you should have a way of getting back, whether it be a link to that on that page back, or maybe have it open in a new window. There is a way for it to open to a new window with a specified size and non scalable, that could be an option. Or maybe using Lightbox http://www.huddletogether.com/projects/lightbox2/ -
Claymation 600 posts17 Feb 2007I like it, very simple and clean.
Although I agree about the extra space. I'd like to see the images appear on the right half of the screen when you click a thumbnail, and the other thumbnails still stay on the left side of the screen. It would make it easier to browse. -

First I liked your old page more than this page.
Here are the facts i dont like:
First Usability is too low. If i want to look at your work, its a pain, it would be easier if i could see tumbs from every piece of your work immedately. Browsing is a pain at the moment.
Second, never upload a page if the content is not finished, and if it comes later simply add not the button, its simply not professional. Finsihed soon... etc... i made this mistake myself VERY VERY often.
Graveyard design: Means the color of Black. Your old page was much more friendlier.
Third: Could you please put a link to my personal homepage, mate for the printer model, could you
