17 Dec 2008I making a side scrolling shooter game using Flash CS3 and Actionscript.

Basically you control the sauce bottle ship and shoot all the meat enemies in your way. There is a boss at the end.
This is only one level, I plan on making 7 all up. Each level will have a different type of meat for enemies. Chicken, steak, sausage, meatball, etc
Feedback would be great. -

some things i have noticed
you can hit falling sausages again im not sure if this is a feature or a bug
the "ship" has a bit a fat as (feels a bit to slow) and the limitations of screenspace is a bit too small.
would be cool if we could upgrade the weapons
like chilli ketchup that burns through multiple sausages
or curry ketchup that shots at a wide angle
i definately want to play more of it !! -
anim84food 9 posts18 Dec 2008That is fun! Definitely would like to see power ups. I like that you can hit the sausages as they fall, you have to use a bit more strategy. Could the ship move laterally as well as up and down? A booster power-up to make the ship faster for a short time would be cool. Great start! -
