01 Sep 2007this is the work i've done over the course of this month at fullsail where i took a course on 2d animation and the basic principles of it. each shot is one day's work. keep in mind I've never dabbled in 2d animation before and I suck at drawing.

ptaverner 379 posts01 Sep 2007For not having done any traditional animation it's pretty good. Maybe loop the run cycles so we can have a longer look. The stick with the string was nicely done.

03 Sep 2007thanks for the kind words iest. i worked really hard this month. i think i got an A in the class. my teacher was so cool, she worked at disney for 10 years before disney laid off all their 2d people

16 Feb 2008hey, nice animating! i tried my hand at sd drawing animation once and let's just say: I've never done it since!
I especially liked the jumping dude -
17 Feb 2008when i get my wacom tablet i'm gonna make a lot more, its just a lot more work to draw it out and scan it in, etc.

26 Feb 2008oh man i didn't like my intro 2d animation class at all
I liked the theory behind it and what I learned (as far as principles of animation); but the actual animating on those damn lightboxes......ugh! which is why i have been postponing my advanced 2d animation class for so long, maybe i'll take it this summer.
