30 Jun 2005I must say I like the jack skelington one. How many of these did you recreate from photos and how many completely done from hand?

30 Jun 2005most of them are done by hand. one method i use is to actually sketch them out, scan them in and then make them into a vector by hand. the cats, self portrait, jack skellington, coke, and pirate were all based from photos

Haven't tried Illustrator myself....hows it compare to something like Photoshop? -

01 Jul 2005Hehe - I've always been reluctant to give illustrator a try. I like the results but paths in Photoshop put me off!
The cat is really nice and detailed - though may favourites are the simpler images, as they have a nice style to them and a sketchlike quality. The guy with the headband is crying out to be animated
