12 Oct 2006Well this is my first assignment at uni the task was.
1> Blitz Ideas of a morph from one object to another (drawing)
2> To draw an animation comprising of over 20 frames
3> Scan into computer and edit each frame (Using photoshop skills)
4> Put frames into flash and create a movie to hand in
I have to hand in , original sketches , scans , finished photoshop edits (storyboard, cell previews) , finished animation with .fla file.
Heres a shot of my photoshop edited story board, i wanted to keep the sketchy / cartoony feel so the colours are pasty and the lines wobble
. As you can see i chose to morph the Internet explorer logo into the Windows media player logo.

12 Oct 2006About 2 hours to sketch / ink / colour
Another 3 hours in photoshop editing all the frames individually
And just now about 2 seconds importing into flash and making the animation. -

12 Oct 2006Hey man, yeah i like what you've done, but i presoanly think it would be better if you had the I.E. logo morph into that little blob and then continue to go clockwise, istenad of it turning around 180 deg. and going anti-clockwise, i think it would have flowed better.
Good job all the same. -
13 Oct 2006i agree . also you could have the blob do a loop after it leaves and come back flying straight at the screen and morph into the play button icon thingo.
