Very very nice, I'm looking for some marshmallows and a stick
I like all of them, the only critique i have is that the flames in the burning paper animation seem very detailed,
it should have more rounded simpler flames. Now it's like on the wrong scale. -

Yeah, I agree about the burning paper. The thing is when I was doing initial tests for it I had a good scale but the flames looked kind of dull and boring like that, so I tried to make them more visually interesting by adding some more detail and color. Looks like I made it less realistic in the process -

26 Jan 2011Holy crap, bro, that torch is INSANE!! Was that part of Allan's training? Alot of times he puts very similar training on his DVDs, and if that torch is on it, I will be purchasing.

Yeah, that torch was actually the first quick exercise of the workshop. There's really nothing special to it, just an object source with a gradient fuel map. I textured it, added heat haze and fire embers just to make it a little more interesting.
@njdorn: I was working with 3ds Max 2010, FumeFX, RayFire, Krakatoa and AfterEffects for compositing.
