11 Dec 2006i was faking it for the moment - was just working on getting the rotation from the translation - will be plugging in a proper spring equation tommorow i reckon

g3org3 355 posts15 Apr 2007Programming doesn't have to do a lot with math. Its more logic. Most of the more complex programs I have had to write don't have lots of math in it.
Java is a pretty easy program to learn and the way it is structured in every way makes sense when you get into OOP. And I believe maxscript is based off of OOP Languages so that won't be too bad.
If I knew MaxScript I would help you translate, but I do not.
I have a PDF of a Java book for beginners if you would like it. It would probably help a lot for learning it. -
