Hi! I've seen some flash animation where the background is blurred n' stuff.
Does anyone know how to do it?

I cant think of anything off the top of my head.
However....
Couldnt you grab photoshop, create a blurred copy of the background and then import and play and work with animating the alpha values of either that, or the original background?
That'd have same kind of effect right?

You weren't completely clear about what the background is exactly, but you could make it a movieclip and use Flash's built in blur. I don't have flash installed on this computer so I can't give you more details than that heh. If you select your MC and look at the panel on the bottom there is an option [+] to add effects like blur, stroke, etc.

yeah it came with flash 8, also came with other filters like glow and shadow, crap like that.
