30 Jul 2008I just started today so I'm not sure if I'll finish but what the heck, I'm in!
I'm visiting family at the moment and this piece was inspired by my 12 year old brother who doesn't enjoy eating peas. I was sitting at the dinner table silently watching as he tried to figure out some crafty way to make his peas disappear without having to eat them. Wouldn't it be nice if a random red critter bounced onto the table, devoured his peas, then took off before anyone else noticed?

30 Jul 2008Hahahahahahah! I lol'd at the video. I read your description after watching the video, and originally thought the ball just came by to smush up his peas haha...although having the ball take them away is funny too
...can't wait to see this one pan out! I've gotta get cracking on mine too

08 Aug 2008I got as much done as I could on the airplane home and rendered it today. The quality is a little shoddy but I didn't have anymore time to fix it. No motion blur or anything fancy either, but it came out kind of neat anyway. The animation could be polished soooo much more but this will have to do for the deadline.

rrateme95 262 posts08 Aug 2008Great =) only crit is that it would be even more awesome with sound effects, oh and just curious in your blocking out, why didnt the software your using do interpolation automatically (im a newbie) because in 3ds max it does interpolation automatically but id rather not have that.... any ideas?

08 Aug 2008I'm guessing by interpolation you're meaning the in-betweens. Set your tangents to stepped mode to have it hold the pose across keys.
