Just a few frames from a test animation. The transformation is setup and rigged etc, now just got to animate a short sequence storywise:-) Decided to keep the idea simple but should be fun to work on anyway. Thanks for looking. -

I had a few days off work so I managed to find time to finish the contest entry. Been great fun to do even though the idea adapted so much from what i had in mind. I planned a simple animation of a transforming toaster and after way too much caffeine it adapted into a battle sequence between two machines. Only one transforms though due to time,
Anyway I'll post these frames for now and upload the movie file at the end of the month. Got to get it down to less than 60mb.....oh and its a minute long which i hope isnt a problem. If so let me know and I'll cut it up a lot. Thanks for looking and best of luck to everyone. Cant wait to see everyones entry.

Escelce 37 posts29 Aug 2007This is my entry. I kind of got carried away with the fighting bit and had to cut it down because rendering what i had would have taken another month
Anyway I hope you like it. Great fun to do and and makes me look at toasters very differently! The second machine doesnt change into anything because rigging the toaster took longer than i planned (Theres a sentence i never thought i'd type).
I couldnt upload the animation here for some reason. If it's ok I've posted it here:
