Sci-Fi Teaser Trailer

triplej96 181 posts06 Oct 2010Here is a teaser trailer we recently finished at work for a short film. For the teaser I used Cinema 4D, Vue, Nuke, After Effects, Mocha and Photoshop. We hope to finish shooting and complete the short by spring of next year. Shot on the RED One. I was responsible for all the cg, compositing, tracking and color grade. I also used TFD for a bit of atmosphere.

Thus far we've been invited to two film festivals for the screenplay. One festival we got third place http://www.yosemitefilmfestival.com/Fes ... fault.aspx and the other we got a runner up. Stay tuned for more updates

can you give us a break-down of some sort?
i would really like to see it more in depth rather then guessing -
triplej96 181 posts08 Oct 2010Thanks diemacht! I don't have a video breakdown handy but I can tell you that I used NUKE for all the keying and I used NUKE to defocus the backgrounds. For tracking I used a combination of SynthEyes, Nuke and Mocha AE. I used Vue to create the environment and used C4D for other elements like smoke and the bottle. Also, I used C4D to camera project one of the Vue scenes and a bit of photoshop here and there.
