For the first time in years it snowed here in North Wales last week - i got a day off work because the roads were too bad to drive, and over the weekend i could not resist going for a walk on the mountains. I took along with me my Girlfreinds digial camera and took a picture, I've stiched them in Photoshop and quite happy with the results! Just thought i might share with you the view! The mountain on the just to the right of the Sun is Y Wyddfa/Snowdon, the highest mountian in England and Wales, it was a very nice walk!

Here is snows 3.5m by winter!
But I noticed this year was a big "snowdy" (or snowly, a new adverb), year in a lot of country. By example, New York got 60cm of snow in 1 day.
You got a lot of snow??

i'll take a picture of the grey smog cloud that hangs over LA someday, for contrast.

Lol, thanks man. Is the smog the reason you've got such fine sun sets over there

Actually you are on the right track Iest. Some of the gasses that are in the atmosphere because of humans create even more colours, thus creating a more amazing sunset. Granted this doesn't mean we need these gasses to have sunsets, it naturally happens because of the different wavelengths and frequency of different colour of the sunlight.

i would trade the smog for clean air any day.
i go moutain biking occassionally about 20 minutes outside of LA, and sometimes when i'm driving back, you can see a literal cloud of grey sitting on the city. the closer you get, the more the edges become less defined, of course. it's weird to see it like that and know that i go into that cloud to live.
but, hey - cg is worth it!

A few months ago was the first time i vistied London, and they have the smog down there too - you could definatly notice the difference between the city air and back home, when i sneezed the tissue was back! Now that can't be healthy! Oh well, it's something im gonna have to get used to.
Glad you like the pic anywho!
I've taken a few more when i've been up and around the mountain in the past few weeks, i'll post 'em once i finished stiching them together etc, me and my freinds are planning on doing the 14 peaks (it's a hike of 14 of Wales' biggest mountains, and it's gonna take us about 2-3 days) so there will be plenty more mounatins fall all to see.
Thanks
