you feel as a parent when you see that pic... ever thought of making a pic where you feel like a children? (getting on your knees and shooting up for example)

05 Aug 2008Great photo man. The only thing I notice compositionally is on the upper left of the table the little metal part of the toy is forming a tangent with the letter/number mat on the ground. Totally minor but it did draw my eye.

@rich: thx man i know what you mean the thing is i have zero lighting equipment i got lucky in that one it was around 6pm and the room looked wonderful with just the light coming from the window.

06 Aug 2008you have a really nice office... you seem to have the most advanced pc ever! i like your keyboard anyway.
btw, you do not need lighting for that shot...
for a shot like that, i'd probably put myself at iso 800 f4 and 1/100 but then again, that could depend on the camera ou have...
one advice i can give you...
when ever you're shooting,
before you click, ask yourself... ok, what am i shooting? just to make shure you are bringing all the attention to it, then once you have taken the pic, ask yourself, how could i name that pic... it helps me a lot to improve my shots...

mahmoudnahmad 1,159 posts06 Aug 2008nothing other than a g7 cannon and a tripod , thinking of buying a new one but when i started looking i am bombarded by the sheer number of camera and it taking me a while to decide on which to pick up

i was really trying to capture it as a kids player room, i shot this while i was taking footage for this amazing kindergarten that had like swimming pools and karts (i wish i had that), and they asked me to create a small advertisement for them for digital signage using those images.
what i am shooting? children play room
name? well i kinda want to go back to being a baby every now and then. so i guess i will name it OurDream assuming many other also have this under their wish list to become a careless baby with no worries or a careless baby that want to learn graphix so young to become better.
