love the noisy texture on the second one (iso number testing?), the first one shows a trail behind the card is that shutter speed cause its awesome, once i am back to jordan i can take a lot of photos no restriction there ^_^ (not in malls though).
rich any advice on new camera? i am leaving the company soon and i need to buy my own still shot camera. my budget is around 1000$ +-200$ is it possible to get an entry level d-slr for that budget.

on the second one, i wanted to get some kind of grainy effect, and i know that i can acheive this by going up to iso 1600 in an underlit situation so that's what i did...
the first one has a slow shutter speed and a flash on top of that...
the cool thing about this is that if you take a pic that lasts for 30 seconds lets say, the flash still lasts a very short time... so combining theses two gives you a neat image (from the flash) and the trails from after the flash...
the trail you see is actualy where it went after the flash, not where it came from... (there is aslo some mothing blur on the thumb to the left if you look at it)
i was probably at 1/30 for that pic... seeing the blur on the shirt, is most likly was at f2.8 or somthing like that, and no grain, so i'd guess iso 800 (remembering the light situation here was)
as for the camera you wanna get... i'd say nikon or canon... personaly i am canon, i prefer the cameras they have compared to nikon.
seeing your budget, i'd get a camera that costs 700 to 800$ with no lens, then get a lens with the 400$ remaining... you could even get two cheap lenses to get you started with that money...

i went to the shops in this country the prices are about 200$ extra from what they actually cost online, and since shipping here is a big nono for big expensive stuff as the handling is crappy.
i tested d80 nikon and the canon xsi rebel (eos 450d), and the fact that d80 has no view finder and UBER HEAVY i am going for the canon light weight and view finder, it comes with a 18-55mm lens i dunno those stuff yet that's why i am buying a still shot camera to learn practically what all those numbers are.
SO I NEED YOUR WORDS ASAP FOR THE CANON EOS 450D ALSO KNOWN AS REBEL XSI (cost: 1200$)

it costs 1200$ with the lens?
if so, go for it! it's an awsome cam, and is very similar to mine, in fact, it's the upgraded version of mine...
once you have it, save some money, and eventualy buy a 75-200mm lens...
if you get it,, i should be able to help you to get you started...
btw, if you can buy this online for less money, go for it... it's kind of shock proof in the case, and shocks don't matter that much on the equipment if it's in a box...

if i'd be you i'd wait at least 6hours before you start using it... on the first charge you should always leave it in longer, then, use the battery fully, then charge it again....
