02 Mar 2007I most likely won't be out from work until later today, but I plan on taking some pictures this weekend after the dump. Yikes man, It's a beast out there. I'll most definitely be taking some cool ones when the sun comes out after it stops blizzarding. Half our office couldn't even make it in. I actually just took this pic from my cellphone from my office window, Just out of view is a freeway and a bridge. That building on the left is about 70 yards from the window, just for size reference.

Claymation 600 posts02 Mar 2007That's pretty sweet zach. We (normally) can see the downtown skyline from our windows, but right now it's just a solid sheet of white, you can't see anything farther than 2 blocks away. I'm gonna try and get some shots of that later.

What I wouldn't give for a snowstorm.
We had a semi-hurricane kind of thing here today, lightning + wind, but the rain was so dense that you couldnt see anything let alone take a decent photo.
I really hope you guys can get out there in it and after rolling around and having snowball fights get some cool pics.

02 Mar 2007Took this on the bridge of Hennepin and Lyndale. I was trying to get one from the skyway today, but it was way too gray. Plus, there were groups of people crowded around the windows.

Claymation 600 posts02 Mar 2007Oh, and tomorrow 93X (radio station) is having a Snow Privates competition. Make the best Snow private, largest or most creative, and win an XBox 360. So we're going to make a giant phallice on top of our bosses Lexus again. We're bringing shovels so this thing should be massive hopefully. I'll post pics if it gets done and if its not too inappropriate.
