Because my Ferry was cancelled to France today, I decided to take a nice stroll along the beach, and took this photo, i think it's pretty nice, and I like the contrast of the stormy sea and the nice calm sky;

holy cow, that's gorgeous! like a friggin' calender, or a postcard, or a wallpaper that ships with Windows! that the kinda photo that makes the photographer money! really nice work!
so the ferry was canceled? not meeting up with Rich, then?

Nice one! Thanks man! The beach is about 10mins away from my house, it's the place I like to go to clear my head - awsome place.
Aye, the damn Ferry was cancelled, so no meeting up with Rich tonight. Hopefully I'll see him in a couple of days, but we'll see.

Hey all - I'm glad everyone likes the pic!
I have the camera set on 'Auto' for pretty much all the time, expect for when I'm experimenting a little, but for these, the settings on 'Auto'.
I went back to the beach today, armed with the camera again, and managed to take a few more pics before my battery ran out;

dude, the sun is so intense in those last 2! amazing! really amazing shots!
i love how much color is them as well, they seem so saturated. and perfect natural flares. really cool!

Wow! Fantastic Iest! You've got a good eye man... it actually takes a lot to make a 'beach scene' interesting IMO

I went out today to take some more pics, went to this nice secluded beach miles from everywhere just to learn that my batteries were dead! How pissed off was I?!
