neat sunrise pic

30 Jun 2006I was playing around with my camera on a recent road trip the other week, and I ended up with this one neat pic out of like a thousand semi-decent ones. Just wanted to share it with you guys. Enjoy, comments and hatemail always welcome!

30 Jun 2006damn thats nice... you should do a little colour cerection photoshop and you would get a really nice result (i'll try myself)

01 Jul 2006I had some time to play around with it a bit. I turned it into a sunset. Nothing serious, just about 5 min worth of the gimp.

01 Jul 2006Oooh... I like this one (though Richard's attempt at colour correction does have a film like quality)... this one is more like a painting. I don't use this word often, but I think it's beautiful - I'd certainly have that on my wall.

02 Jul 2006Thanks for the compliments guys! I have printed out a large black and white one to hang on my wall with some of my other favorite photos. I think black and white just has the perfect quality when it comes to foggy pictures. Plus everything in my apt. is all black white and grey.
I am also finally going through a whole bunch of old picutres from a recent trip to Yellowstone park here in the U.S. So keep an eye out for that here.

15 Jul 2006I really like this shot, shame about the sky being over exposed (probally just grey sky, what i usually do is fake the sky and brush a little cloud in. Adds to the dramatic feel a picture should always have to draw the view towards your piece
.
Really love the shot tho m8, its actually quite hard to capture the fog on a lake like that (especially when you dont get up early like me haha) -

Camera Raw format: and a huge TIFF format, for those not using programs without Raw support: My only request is that if you do something to it, you post it back on this thread and show everyone what you did with it! -Z
