lol, yeah a bit understated maybe
I've been away for nearer 3 and a half years now too! been working in the POS industry - started on MAX and then moved to solidworks (which rocks for engineering modelling).
I think I will have pretty much regressed as far as MAX goes these days - probably right back to noob status!!

It's kind of hard to explain just how good solidworks is - its a solid modeller for a start, and is designed for CAM (nope, not you, cammy)
means if you needed to model up a product or bit of architecture, then you could, and then you can easily change the design at any point due to a heirarchy based history you can go back to or even re-order at will.
