Hah, I changed the title. People are calling it Terragen 2 although I'm sure the final release will be different.
The release date was originally set for over a year ago, so this is a long-awaited moment, even if it is just the "Tech Preview"....

thanks for bringing this to my attention! I used to LOVE that original first freeware version, even though you didn't have too much control over stuff. it sure does make awesome landscapes easy!
