Anybody know of a decent video tutorial that shows how to composite geometry from Maya into live action video in After Effects? I know it involves Alpha Channels and all that, but I can't seem to find a tutorial that goes through it step by step by step. Thanks in advance!

i use 3d max i don't know about maya but i am sure the same concept applies i usually render our a PNG sequence from 3d software (png holds alpha) so all you have to do from there is take it into after effects but importing the first file in the sequence and then making sure before you hit ok that png sequence check box is checked I HOPE THAT HELPs
