19 Nov 2007i had a formation on combustion a while ago...it's a quiete simple and powerfullsoftware one time you understanding the workflow... as simple as AE
Btw, there is not a lot of ressources about combustion, dunno why, but anyway you will find some pdf here on the tutoriel's page : http://www.cgitrainer.com (in french sorry...but i know that's you don't mind )

There is section Video Training and there is quite a lot free good quality video tutorials for different software. There is one Video Training Module for Combustion. It doesn't go though very deeply but still it is good. I suggest to take a look -
13 Feb 2008Most of the stuff you'll need to know can be found on this page, there are a bunch of good little tuts on here to get you started. I used to use Combustion, but i'm not a big fan of it over After Effects or other comping programs, though if used in conjunction with max and rpf format, you can have a LOT of control over your stuff.
