for some reason when i scrub the timeline the footage does not update until after i release the mouse. does anyone know how to fix this problem?
i am using Cs3 and i have 2 gigs of Ram.
any help would be greatly appreciated because this is a annoying problem lol

o the right hand side of your timeline panel there should be a little drop down menu arrow. in that menu, there should be something called "live update". turn that on. At least, this is how it works in 7. Should be the same in CS3.
