I've been looking for a tutorial on how to apply a fabric texture to a Sofa. So far I've been unable to find one. I'm hoping someone here can direct me to a tutorial or if you can provide a quick walk through on how to apply a fabric texture to a NURBS sofa model that would be great. I've tried the conventional way
1. Square high resolution fabric texture
2. Created a bump of the fabric in photoshop
3. Applied the images to their respective channel
4. Tweaked the bump values and depth
5. Rendered the image
The rendered image come out pretty bad, I've tried several things such as creating a diffuse map. But that did not help, I'm currently out of options so I'm hoping you guys can help.
Thanks

would a poly modeling sofa suit you? also, i could do it with procedural textures instead of using photoshop, and it would be in 3ds max
let me know, i would be more than happy to do it for you...
