Well since you have a Photoshop section why not an After Effects one. That software is amazing when you know how to use it.

We can add an after effects forum if you think there will be enough traffic and discussions generated from it. Does anyone else think an after effects forum is required?
Or we could have an "All Other Software" forum. Which everything else fits into.

yea i think post production or compositing & effects will do it,
think that title kinda describes AE, premiere, combustion and sound and whatnot

Well here's the reason if people have question in after effects, and you give a membership to my boss, he'll be able to help he's a master in AFX.

I think there definately should be a post production sub forum but not limited to After Effects or Combustion or anything.
Perhaps we can have an AE at the front of a post that relates to after effects and so on...what do you guys think?

i was wondering if there was any chance that the 3d forum would later be divided into a subdivision called "game art" as is the case on cgtalk.
as for actual features i noticed that we are still doing the voting through posts if cam could wip up a neat voting form that would be nice and with his programming knowledge it shouldnt take more than a few minutes.

Once we start getting a solid intake game art in to sustain a new sub-forum, then I am sure we can implement it then.
For the proper contests there will definately be an online voting system in place. For these mini challenges, while there are only a few people voting I think its easier to work it how it is. But, it will be implemented in due time.

also i just thot of something .. on most forums that ive visited when u click on the persons name it either links u to their profile or gives u a roll out menu where u cna choose options such as "view profile" , "find all threads started by", "find all posts started by" it would be nice to have those features on these forums it helps for searching for past work the user has done or too see what level he/she is at so that u can better equip ur post to help them.
edit: i would also be interested in redesigning the froums ..or has that already been done?
