Well, what can I say? What a wonderful experience! A real tough challenge, but I met some great people and got a taste of some new culture along the way (the music and dance was a fantastic distraction!)

Oh, and one of the cool things was that I bumped into {read: 'jumped on'} our very own Ben Colburn! Finally I can say I have met one of the guys on the forum! *Ben... sorry I made you jump - it was all a bit of a rush... I just recognised those meat chop sideburns and I knew it was you!*
Am meeting up at the 'Gumbo Shop' on Peters St for lunch at 12 tomorrow - if there are any more simplyCgers in town would be good to meet up

08 Aug 2009I wish Siggraph was in LA every year! i got to meet Ben last year here. If I was anywhere near Siggraph, I'd be at the Gumbo Shop! And congrats again on the win, great animation!
