Read an interesting article on a site which somewhat slams the trailer, saying that it looks like the film "has been focus-grouped to within an inch of it's life". Sadly I think that's true - I wonder what it would have been like had Glen Keane stayed on the project

First time to see the trailer, till now olny saw stills. Well... I hope the movie is going to be better then the trailer.
I think the animation and characters looks great....what I'm not a fan of is the way it seems to be a "oh tee hee look at all these hilarious gags" kinda film (at least, that's the way the trailer is selling it). Look at the way a masterpiece like Snow White was written and then look at the direction this film is going in......shame it's not taking itself a bit more seriously.
well the biggest difference i see is, that back then the people just wanted to do beautiful movies. nowadays its just about box office results, the movie has to sell and sell a lot so it is "dumbed down" so everybody "enjoys" it and a lot of the comedy movies nowadays are just lined up sketches with no real story anyway.(ie. scary movie and the spin offs and all the other "stoner" movies that are getting more and more prominent)(i cant watch those i find them too embarrassing) And btw i hate the "Avril Lavigne" style talking(i dont know if there is a official name for it but thats how i call it) : "Youre like OMG!" "its like totally awesome!".
