keyframe copy paste?

24 Feb 2008is it possible to copy paste keyframes from one object to another like in AFX were you can for example copy the x rotation and paste it to another layer?
i couldnt accomplish it i couldnt find anything on google too -
24 Feb 2008oh i found a way but its :S
open the graph editor select the rotation or position or whatever right click and then go to the one you want to paste and right click and paste :S but a shortcut would be fabuloso

24 Feb 2008One way I like to do something like that is to select the object I want to copy keys to, and select it's attribute, like the rotation, and hit ctrl+alt+= and what that does is enable the expression editor for that layer. Then I click and hold down on the spiral icon (pickwhip) and drag it onto the rotation attribute of the object I want to copy keys from, That way the second object's rotation is linked dynamically to the first. So if you make changes to the primary object, then the secondary object will also get those changes and you won't have to copy paste keyframes again if you decide to change it.

i did once a animation for a rotating credit card with reflection like this but i multiplied the "reflection" with -1 so it rotates to the other direction
so that it looks basically like a reflection
you got smt for max too? -
28 Jul 2009again i was searching for an answer for this question so i think its time to bump this thread up
and the important thing is to copy a spesific range of keys
to copy paste whole tracks is possible from the curve editor or dope sheet but i want a animation frome a camera to merge with another camera so that the both is merged into one camera movement.
but the only thing is to copy x/y/z and then paste it seperately for each key and then do this for the target
so to copy one keyframe i have to do this 3 times back and forth. this is stupid why cant i just copy the one frame i want -
