Awe, WTF! They still didn't create a Plug-in Manager that could disable plugin's.
Shame on you Autodesk. Load time is probably going to be ridiculous.
On a different note:

11 Mar 2010Crossing my fingers for CAT! Nothing against Character Studio and biped but can't resist wish to test CAT tool. Judging from feature and improvement list posted on autodesk blogs max developers did quite a job
And 3DS Max Composite, I guess, sort of answered questions rised around Combustion
But than again, this Composite may turned out very well. Any of people here around played with this Toxic/Composite thing, can share impressions and previous experience? -
11 Mar 2010well we had a subscription here for toxic and i worked with it a couple of times.
The initial launch of toxic was that you can work with multiple people on one scene. but than they scratched it. there are some really nice features and it is very easy and fast to work with if you get used to it the middle mouse click thingie helps a lot. (feels a bit like crysis hehe).
But the thingis it is a shot based compositing tool like many other node based compositors. so it really couldnt stand its place against Afx at least here were we mostly do trailer or intro movies which are full cg anyway and dont need "real" compositing.
It is a hell of a nice feature to have but i doubt that many are going to use it.
having a scalable toolbar would be much nicher
instead you can autohide it now :S
better than nothing but still lame.... -
20 Mar 2010I'm also hoping they've got CAT working better. I had issues where files would become useless. I mean maybe I did something it didn't like but OK crash and let me fix it.
Nope, once the file was corrupt that was it. No fixing it. -
26 Mar 2010Well, the fog is somewhat settled with the release I guess. There was this game developer conference going on in the world and autodesk uploaded on their area many videos.

I liked that weird, created very quickly strange creature rig system. And his walk is awesome
Fog settled but only partially, would be interesting to read people responses and feedbacks
