nothing too exciting, just some screen shots of my workflow at home on my short little D&D inspired movie. thought you guys might want to see why i can't give all my time to the challenges...
i'm gonna finish it in the next couple days, cuz it has to be posted at the contest site by Sept. 1st. -
29 Aug 2006Sweet man! That axe looks awsome! Looking forward seeing this beast. Is this the same movie as the Orc type creature was in you posted a few weeks back? Nice one man, really hope you get to finish it before the deadline.
It would be cool to have a 'short film' type challenge here wouldent it? That would be a cool team project in the future maybe?

30 Aug 2006Ridestowe, if you use photoshop you won't find AFX confusing it's the same but with a keyframer.

After Effects may look confusing (all kinds of windows and graph editors etc open in his screenshot there may look overwhelming)....but it's INCREDIBLY easy and simply and intuitive to use
It's my compositing application of choice! *insert epic TV commercial music* -
30 Aug 2006I'm with T except for the bezier on the keyframer, I still find them confusing.
