Will J 215 posts02 Dec 2007Many of my friends have said that Ratatoille was overdone, but I am reserving judgement until I have seen it. I did however LOVE surf's up, I mean come on, those water effects were beyond jaw dropping! Darn good story too. Some genius watched riding giants and said "Hey, we should do this, but with PENGUINS!!11!!1!"

I LOOOOOOOOOVVVVVEEEEED it. An incredibly beautiful film, and I hope they push for 'Best Picture' this year like they've been talking about...not just 'Best Animated Film'. -

03 Dec 2007I have to say that though I liked Surf's up more than I did Ratatouille, I think that Ratatouille will win just because technically it was a waaay more sophisticated filanimation, (just made that word up) and because the story wasn't so trite. Plus it wasn't a penguin movie as was stated earlier. I saw it with my canoe tipping girlfriend when she came out here to visit at a massive drive in right on the ocean. Pretty cool, but she's a chef and hated it. So oh well, whatever.
