question for all the animators out there. do you use the dope track to animate? i've read keith lango's animation "pose to pose animation" file. he uses the dope track in maya. i know not everyone uses the pose to pose method, some prefer the straight ahead method.
that being said, is it possible to copy and paste key frames in 3ds Max similar to key frames in AE using the dope track?
i feel like this would be a much easier way to animate in Max and help to line up all the key frames on a single frame for each pose.
final question. if it is possible to copy and paste key frames in Max. is it possible to copy a pose and paste a flipped copy? i.e. i have a low max rig with its right foot forward. i copy and paste the reverse key frames down the timeline which results in its left foot forward.
sorry to ramble on like this, i'm sure it's a "newb" question. i'm just not that familiar with Max. thanks.

i don't know much about most of what you asked, but i know the easiest, fastest way to copy/paste keyframes in Max is to select the keframe in the timeline at the bottom of the interface, hold down SHIFT, and click and drag it to where you want the new one.
