this is the first time I rendered with lights and materials. If I use a bump I have black pixels on the object

It's all about bump map and render samples as I know. if your bump be very sharp or bump value be very high you would get that black pixels. also if your render maximum sample size be low may cause results like this. what renderer you used?

I guess that. in your renderer settings change your minimum sample size to 1/16 and maximum to 4. and set filter to gauss. it would help. (if it not because of bump map.)

ok. icrease the maximum sample size (ie: 16). and also test other filters. should work. and if don't; check your bump map and bump value.

no pro. I experienced that problem with our project before at the start. we use mentalray too. I am the lighting and renderer artist there. will be happy if I could help.
