I'm a beginner myself, but I just wanted to share with you this cool stuff I learned the other night at the Motion Graphics Los Angeles meeting. This is just some examples of EXTREMELY easy AE expressions, and hopefully will introduce you to what AE is really capable of. These expressions I learned from Alex over at www.aenhancers.com
, and there are SO MANY more cool things that can be found there! Go check it out!!
The first one shows a SUPER simple expression for introducing a handheld-camera type movement to a movie or image. You'll also see how it can easily be adjusted to make anything from a nice floating motion to severe, crazy shaking.
This second one shows a MUCH cooler expression, and also demonstrates how to use expression objects (a slider). This one also shows AE working in 3D mode. The expression used in this one works in 3D space, so i show how to get AE into 3D mode, and some basic navigation (although I don't know all that much about AE 3D, either!).
Here's the expression you'll need for the second one.

Oh, and these are Divx compressed, so let me know what you think of them. I'm trying another capture program.
Let me know what you think of them, and go check out all the other cool stuff at AEnhancers!
