Thanks for the replies guys, you are all right,I did mess up the intergration off the cg and back plate..
thing is, I was expirmenting with it either flopped or not, and this looked better as it mixed well with the
high expsourse spot on the Back plate.. About DOF, yup I went DOF Happy
Anyways, shouldn't worry you guys since I dont plan on basing my projectn a backplate, rather model
some scenery and render things properly.
mcernusca - about the turtle neck, I'd like you guys to see it in movement and then you can judge it, It is stiff
no doubt, but I think it adds a bit to the fact that he's nothing from our current world, something different fighting enemies
and scnerios we do not, adding a bit of -oddness- to it.. but could be a bit too much, ill check it out.
other then that, some details.. it was orignally modeled with XSI, displaced using mudbox, texturing in photoshop..
that pretty much sums it up, right now its renderd with mental ray Maya.. and I am in the proccess of translating the whole
thing to maya.. as it's my main app right now.. and the plan is to comp the whole thing in nuke (which as you can see I am in the process
of learning.. so it wil be a great chance to learn some composting).
