I was just wondering if it is possible to make a curve array in maya (or in maya speak: duplicate objects along a curve.) I can do it easy as pie in rhino and it's a neat function, it can't be missing from our darling Maya, surely?
Modify > snap align objects > position along curve.
I haven't used it so don't know for sure if that's what you're looking for.
shift+D to duplicate, move and rotate as you want, then, without deselecting it, shiftD as many times as you like...
